remote PC management

I keep getting the following Error Message:

Computer \\computername.domain.com cannot be managed. The network path
was not found

I have followed the steps in Microsoft Knowledge Base Article - 262597,
but still cannot connect.
Any ideas? Both local and remote running WinXP Pro, SP1.

Make sure that the ICF firewall is disabled on target machine, and that the server and remote registry services are started. Also try substituting the ip address instead of computer name to see if it is a name resolution issue. -- Steve
