I have used remote desktop on my internal network for quite a while
now, everything has been working fine. But now of some odd reason I
can't do a remote login to my remote computer when it is at the login
screen. I have always been able to do this before, and it has been
very useful when I've done reboots of the remote computer. Now I have
to login directly at the computer itself to make the computer accept
remote logins. Worth noticing is that when the remote computer is at
the login screen I can access its shared files over the network but as
I mentioned not do a remote login.
Does anyone know how to correct this problem? I have a feeling that
the remote desktop service isn't starting automatically in the
background at the login screen, but I have checked my services and
haven't found anything. Well somehow
There is no firewall issue or anything like that.
All help and ideas are appreciated!
Remote computer is running Win XP Professional with all the latest
fixes and patches.
