Hi James,

You can "login" only to an XP Pro computer (I assume you mean by using
Remote Desktop Connection). Well, you can login to a Windows 2000 Server or
Windows Server 2003 too. (This is one of the reasons why XP Pro costs $100
more than XP Home).

You can login from XP Pro or XP Home. Also from Windows 2000, 98, Me and NT.
Maybe even from 95; and from a Mac (using Mactopia). For these computers,
you have to download the RDC utility from Microsoft.com.

Can you login to "Mine"? If it is a Windows XP Pro, you can.

one that is being logged into), right click My Computer | Properties. On the
Remote tab, by default it's turned off, allow users to connect remotely to
this computer. Notice that your XP Home computer doesn't have this option.

And you have to have the ICF firewall turned off on the XP Pro. That's on
the My Network Places | Properties. Local Area Connection | Properties |
Advanced tab.

Only one computer can login at a time. If someone is already on the XP Pro,
they will be "asked" to be bumped off. (On a WIn

HTH. Did I miss something?
