Hi
I am planning to employ the remote desktop using VPN. Are there any easy
tutorials available? Can you use the programs, like Outlook email, exactly
as you were using your own PC? Can you use RDT if you have Firewall (HW)?
Thanks

Remote Desktop is a take-over program that lets you do anything that
you can do while sitting in front of the machine. You need to open up
port 3389 to get through your firewall.

You don't really need VPN for Remote Desktop. If the host machine runs
WinXP Professional or Windows 2003 Server then all remote drives are
automatically visible during the RDT session.

Thanks Pegasus
That´s great. Could you pls inform me how to open port 3389?

Thanks
Kalevi

I'm afraid I cannot do this - you need to consult the manual for
your hardware firewall.
