Is a Remote Desktop Connection the same as a Terminal Service connection?

And if so, how do I control which applications a user sees when they log
into the Remote Desktop, and prevent them from browsing the servers' local
disks?

TIA

Yes, that's the same thing.

You can secure your terminal server in several ways, by using a
combination of Group Policies and NTFS file system permissions.
Exactly what and how you secure it depends a bit on the OS on your

Awesome, thanks!
Sometimes when you're out of the loop for awhile, it takes a bit to catch
up.
