remote desktop trough wireless router

I have a new Belkin F5D8231-4 N1 Wireless Router, I'm trying to access my
windows media center pc using remote desktop, I can only conect using a
labtop when is conected in the network, but when I go and connect to the
internet outside remote desktop cannot acces my pc. What I'm I doing wrong?

You need to forward TCP Port 3389 through the router to the private static
LAN IP of the desktop. Call using the public IP of the router. See this page
