remote desktop printers

How do I set up remote desktop to add and access a local
printer when accessing the host at another site
 
Open the Remote Desktop connectoid and go to "Options -> Local Resources -> Local devices".

You'll also need to install the printer drivers of the local printer on the
remote PC.
