Remote Desktop log off slow

Using Nortel routers and cable internet to connect 2
sites in same city. Using WinXP Pro on desktop. Login
to server is fast, programs work great. When we log off
it takes 4 minutes or more for any users except the
administrator. The administrator user logs off within
seconds.
Any suggestions?
