Remote Desktop Issues Through RAS

Some of my remote clients are able to connect through RAS on Win 2003 Server,
but can only use IP address to remote desktop to other XP clients. They also
can't map drives when connected through RAS. Other clients can connect
through RAS and have to put client.domain.com to remote desktop and to map
drives. What could be causing this? All clients are binded to the domain
also. Any ideas would be great! Thank you.
