remote desktop disabled

On Windows XP Pro we were using remote desktop. We had a wireless connection
installed (by Comcast) to replace our DSL on the host computer (the one we
are trying to connect to) and can no longer connect using the IP address.
Message says "Remote Desktop Disconnected. Client could not connect to
computer"

Does anyone know what settings have changed? The wireless installers had
told us that they had left the settings the same. Windows Firewall is not
being used but we have a Norton Security Firewall on the host computer.
