remote desktop control,

is there a way that if i am accessing a windows xp pc remotely using remote
desktop,
then nobody else should be able to take control of it remotely,
unless I leave the control of PC?

normally, what happens is; if i am remotely accessing a PC name A, and
someone else also wanted to access the pc A, he/she is able to access it. and
my connection is terminated (my session is taken control of, by other person)

thanks in advance, for any help.

Operating System involved?
(Windows XP Professional or superset, Windows 2000/2003/2003R2?)

All of you are administrators, eh? Sounds like you are using a Windows XP
machine (allowing only one session at a time) as the server and everyone
involved is a member of the administrators group instead of a member of the
users group - and also remote desktop users. My bet is they even get a
message telling them they are going to log you off - and they do it -
because they can - they are administrators.

OS is Windows XP Pro only.
and your guess is right. all users are administrators,
and when i try to connect to a remote machine, that is being used by
someone else (admin acct), i am asked to whether i want to log-off that user
or not, and i can login when i forcefully log-off that user...

i thought there would be some way around so that even members of admin
group should not be able to take control of that pc, until user who is
remotely accessing the pc leaves it.

No.

Everyone is in control.
Everyone on the system is an administrator.
Everyone can do what they want, when they want and how they want.
