Remote Desktop Connection

Hi,

I have to PC's one it is a laptop and the other a desktop, i have XP Home,
but i have pre-installed the RDC, i can't make this work, if i go to system
and then i click on reomte i can only activate Remote assitance, but no
Desktop Connection?, it's possible to do it??, can any body give me the steps
to follow??

If your only OS (both PCs) is Windows XP Home - Remote Desktop does not
exist/will not work on them. They can utilize the Remote Desktop Client to
connect to Windows Xp Professional (or superset) computers as well as a host
of server operating systems - but Windows XP Home edition cannot act as a
Remote Desktop server/host.

If this is your case - I suggest UltraVNC as an alternative.
