Which PC is supposed to be the RD host - one of these
three WinXP Home PCs, or some other PC or server?
If it is the latter, please state to OS of that machine.

it will be one of the three pc's it's running windows xp home edition

The Remote Desktop host must run on a WinXP Professional
PC. If all of your PCs run WinXP Home then you must use an
alternative product, e.g. WinVNC.

You cannot remote desktop into a XP Home computer--RD is a function of XP
Pro.
