Remote Desktop Connection

Two computers on peer-to-peer network. PC is Win2K and Laptop is WinXP. All
fully updated.

Laptop has Remote Desktop Connection installed by default. You can download
RDC from MS to install on non-XP computers and so is installed on PC.

However, although I can use RDC on the laptop to connect to another computer
via internet connection (also running XP), I can't get the two computers to
connect over local network.

Anyone done this on non-XP computers over a LAN?

BTW, I'm not talking about NetMeeting's Remote Desktop Sharing which is
entirely something else and does work funny enough.

You'll need to get past the hardware and or network issues first. This link
may help. http://www.wown.com/articles_tutorials/netgeneral/
