Remote Desktop Connection Query?

I have the following setup:-
Host PC connected to ADSL via usb modem.
Host PC connected to Client PC via crossover LAN cable.
ICS enabled.
Both PC's running XPHome SP2. and ZA Pro

Both PC's see each other and share files and printers over LAN and both
connect via to Internet.

I use Ulta VNC to view and/or control both PC's from the other.

Q1 Can I use Remote Desktop Connection instead?
Q2 Remote Desktop Connection is enabled on both PC's but when I try it I
get an error message " The client could not connect to the remote computer.
Remote connections might not be enabled or the computer might be to busy to
accept new connections "

Can I use the facility????

Short answer, no.
Long answer, the Remote Desktop feature can only be used to
connect to a computer running XP Pro or Windows Server 2003. An
XP Home Edtion computer can only act as the client, the machine
you're connecting from. Here's an article that points this out:
