Remote Desktop - Blank Screen

I connect to my PC through RDC, Everything was working fine until a few days
ago. Now when I connect I get the Title bar with the computername:443
(Changed the port) and a blank screen. The login box never appears then I
get the message that the connection has been broken. Any ideas?
 
What process did you go through to change the port to 443?
Are you behind a firewall? Is there a firewall on the machine you are
trying to connect to?

I updated the registry (this was done a long time ago). I'm have a netgear
router. Everything was working fine until about 3 days ago (worked for 2
years before that). I have not made any system changes, so I'm a bit
perplexed as to why this is happening.
