Hey guys... I'm kind of new to this remote desktop
thing... I need to setup my home computer so that I can
access it from anywhere. Currently, I have a cable modem
that connects to a router, that connects to my computer
and others. I was wondering how I can set it up so that
I would be able to access my computer from some other
computer in another network.

Forward TCP Port 3389 to the private LAN IP of the target PC. Call using the public IP of the
router, ie. the IP assigned by your ISP.

Also, one question, are you using XP Pro? Remote Desktop is not available in
Home.
