You need to supply more details:
- What application did you download from the Microsoft site?
- Are the two computers on the same network? If so, what
are their IP addresses?
- Did you enable Remote Desktop on the host?
- Did you disable the firewall on the host?
- Did you add your logon account to the list of Remote
Desktop users on the host?
- What command did you use on the client?

2. The computers are XP pro. in the same network

3. I did enabled Remote Desktop.

4. Is service pack 1. Doesn't have firewall.

There is no need to download or install anything under
WinXP. Remote Desktop is already included with the
operating system.

When you enable Remote Desktop on the host machine,
you MUST enter the name of the account(s) authorised
to use Remote Desktop. Later on, when you launch
Remote Desktop from the client, you will be challenged
for this user name and password.

To launch Remote Desktop, you create a shortcut
with this command:

mstsc /v:NameOfHostPC

Hi there,

thanx for the information. I tried early in the morning the steps that i
found.
Host: Check all the steps that requested by and add the users like
administrator.

Remote : mstsc /v:kiosco1 and doesn't work
what am i do it wrong??

The network is like these:

I have 2 connections:

1. local : i use to connect to other computers. Local network

2. Wireless: is used to connect with a bank to make charges.

I need to use both networks.

The remote application is using the wirless connection.

The message I receive when I am trying to connect is like these below:

Client cannot connect to the Remote PC

Is posible the remote configurations are disabled or the system is too busy
to accept conections.

Maybe is posible there is problems with the Network

Try to connect later or contact your network administrator.

Check if the host is listening on the correct port by
running this command from a Command Prompt on
the client PC:

telnet HostName 3389
or
telnet HostIPAddress 3389

remote application. Other issue was that the computer host had a wrong IP
address i wasn't in other range of ip's i change it and works.

thanx for your help.. I hope this example works for somebody else
