Remote Desktop and Programs Closing when I disconnect

When I remote in to my computer at home from work and then disconnect... I can later log in and all my programs are still Open. I like this.

But when I log into Work from home sometimes I get disconnected, when I reconnect with RDC I get my normal Network login and then All programs are closed. I want them to stay open if and when I disconnect. Since both my Home and Work PC are Windows XP Pro I figure there must be a setting I can change so that my programs will remain open..

I guess so that the Remote PC just locks the terminal instead of LOGGING off when it gets disconnect.

I've looked under session in the Group Policy Editor but there isn't anything about Disconnects. Please Help!!!

There could be a domain group policy that will reset the session after
a inactivity period.... I use that at the office on our servers...

Try setting the following to see if helps:
run TSCC.msc on server, go to Connection->RDP-Tcp, select sessions tab,
check "Override user setting" and check "disconnect from session"
thanks
