I am using remote desktop to get to my companies main domain controller. At
this point a have need to be able to remotely connect to the data server (so
I can look at the backup logs actually). Is there a quick way to do this?
Do I have to install anything on this 2nd server? Am I still going thru the
domain controler to do this?

Thanks very much.

You must start the Terminal Server service on your server, and
enable your account for Terminal Server access.

Both servers are running W2k. Terminal Server is running on the DC. Do I
need to have TS running on the 2nd server as well or do i just install the
client portion on the 2nd server?

Thanks

On the client machine you only need the client portion. You can
test your connection by issuing this command from the client:

telnet YourServerName 3389
