W2k server routing and remote access

We have a Windows 2000 server domain controller with a separate application
server and two Citrix servers.

The application and Citrix servers were configured by an outside vendor that
does not directly support remote access via the Internet. The Citrix servers
were originally configured for integrating wireless laptops and connecting
our remote site via a dedicated T-1.

Along the way we determined that users could access the application from
home by first establishing a PPTP connection via Routing and Remote Access on
the domain controller, then connecting to the Citrix servers.

We have become a victim of our own success. Now everyone wants remote
access and some people have moved away and rely on it solely for their
employment.

The problem is the server limits the number of concurrent PPTP connections
to 5. Is there anywhere we can go to purchase more licenses to up the
connection limit?

Thanks in advance.

I'm not sure I understand what you mean by the server limits the number of
connections. If it's what I think it is, you can change that limit. It
sounds like the ports are limited to just 5. Open up the mgmt tool for RRAS
and check the properties of the PPTP port.
