Hello,
I need to create a very restricted access to Remote Desktop users only.

1. Disable all desktop icons
2. Disable any network browsing and desktop management.
3. allow RDP users to access only one program
4. disable any wondering out to the network.

you can email me at (e-mail address removed)

Thanks for your help.

Starting point:
"Locking Down Windows Server 2003 Terminal Server Sessions"
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/...ff-9a6e-40c7-b64e-7920e6ae6a0d&DisplayLang=en

"How to lock down a Windows Server 2003 or Windows 2000
Terminal Server session"
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;q278295

a GPMC export from that settings:
http://www.gruppenrichtlinien.de/BestPraxis/TermServ2003.zip
(you have to use the Migration Tabel Editor, because of the
security group)

or simply define your program as a shell, instead of explorer.
somewhere in Userconfiguration \ "User defined Shell"

Adding Software Restriction Policies and you will be fine ...

Windows 2000 Server is in Workgroup settings, most of the suggestions are for
Domain settings.

Thanks

Hi,
Windows 2000 Server is in Workgroup settings, most of the suggestions are for
Domain settings.

The goal and Solution is the same, only the way of applying GPOs
is different.
