Lockdown user desktop

I have a thinclient running XPe v5.1 sp2. I want to be able to lockdown the
desktop so that the user is unable to change the desktop that I have setup.
I have 2 icons on the desktop, Cisco VPN dialer and Citric ICA pointing to
our Citric server. In the start menu I have the Printers and faxes icon an
app that displays the IP configuration and the logoff and shutdown buttons.
This will be at a remote location so they are not logging into a domain when
they startup the device.
Thanks for any suggestions

When you say " user unable to change the desktop" what exactly do you mean?
Can you spec it out?

E.g., not being able to move icons on the desktop, not being able to
rename/remove/add/etc. icons on the desktop, etc.

On XPe (the same as on XP Pro) there are some policies (explorer, group, UI)
that will help you locking down something on desktop. For instance, you can
turn off right click (context menu) on the desktop, hide some drives, etc.

KM
