Remote desktop alternate ports

Hej

Im trying to connect to my home PC (XP PRO) configured to
another port than 3389. My problem is how to tell the
client to use the same port?

Thanks

You can just specify the port as a part of the machine name (i.e.,
machinename:port or xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx:port) IF you are using the Remote
Desktop Connection client software. If you use the webclient, you
need to edit the webclient webpage to allow the different port
assignment. If you are using the PPC TS client, you will not be able
to use an alternate port.
