Hello,
I need to access a windows 2000 server system, but I'm trying to figure out
what's the possible options.
I tried to use VNC software but doesn't work because my costumer has a router.
What's the other options?

Thanks in advance.

If the server is using a private IP behind a router, any method you use
will require port forwarding to be set up on the router. You can only
connect through the Internet to a registered public IP.

Apart from VNC, you could use Remote Desktop or VPN.

The server is behind a router.
So VNC doesn't work. Remote Desktop is from windows xp right?
What do you mean by VPN? To make a virtual private network?

Yes. Windows server has RRAS built in which supports VPN server. Windows
workstation OSs have built in VPN client software.

Consider this. If the 'server' is behind a router, Remote Desktop will have
the same effect if you don't open the ports.
