Remote Assistance.

Major Dad

I am running Windows XP and using a cable internet
connection. I can't make a connection when someone asks
me for remote assistance. I also can't make a connection
when I ask for remote assistance. My Zone Alarm is
disabled and my Windows XP firewall is disabled. My
internet and email is running fine. Any ideas?
 
Are you using a hardware router? Can your friend ping your machine?
