There are two options to contact with the assistant-windows messenger and
e-mail. I used the e-mail option and send the invitation to myself only to
test how it works. At the end of sending the mail,a dialogue box appeared
notifying me that the mail has been send successfully. But I have'nt recieved
the mail.

secondly,it requires that both,me and the assistant, must be using either
windows messenger or a MAPI-compliant e-mail account such as microsoft
outlook. Is windows messenger same as yahoo messenger? How can i have windows
messenger? should both people have this windows messenger?
What will be the platform 4 chatting.

Thirdly, wat changes need to be done on windows firewall? I mean should it be
on(dont allow exceptions),off.which button should be clicked?

Hi khushi,

You chat by Voice using the Messenger program. Request Remote Assistance
can be issued thru Windows Live Messenger program, under Actions in the
Conversation Window with the person you are talking to.

Hi klushi,

At the top of the Remote Assistance Window, where it displays the
desktop of the other person, there is a Toolbar. If you are helping this
person, then you need to click Take Control. If he is helping you, then
he/she needs to click Take Control and the other needs to allow Control.
