Remote Asistance doesn't see my msn

I'm trying to connect to a friends pc to see if its possible to use my
virusscanner to clean-up his pc.(IS THIS POSSIBLE????)
Now the first problem is that evey time I run remote assistance it says that
msn is not installed.

Please give some clear advise for someone whom hasen't learned anything
since he started to use a pc. Other possibility is for someone to help
me...using remote assistance:p
