Remote Access Connection Manager

Probably a stupid Ques.>>>

I can not start the Remote Access Connection Manager
service on my XP pro machine. I get an access denied.
Where is the security for this located? I can not seem to
be able to find where to give permission to run it.

Make sure you are logged on as an administrator. If that does not help see the KB
article below on using the secedit command to reset security settings to default
defined values, except append /areas services to the end of it and see if that
elps. --- Steve

secedit /configure /cfg %windir%\repair\secsetup.inf /db secsetup.sdb /verbose
/areas services
