reminders

I use "reminders" in Outlook to remind me of things I need to do. Sometimes
I use the "snooze" feature to remind me a little later in the day, but the
reminder never comes back up. When I open outlook in the morning, all the
reminders I have set come up, regardless of what time I've set the reminder
for (example: I have a reminder set for 4:00pm every day to remind me to
take my medication - because I'm old and forget! - and it comes on in the
morning right away, so I hit snooze and then it never comes back up.) The
other day I had a reminder to do the birthday and anniversary cards for
later in the week. It came up and I set the snooze to remind me again in 4
hours. It never came back up and I forgot about the cards. The next morning
when I opened up Outlook, the reminder popped up.

When I was on the computer up front, it worked fine. Is there some setting
in Outlook that I need to set for the snooze feature to work? I'm baffled.

What version of Outlook? When did this stop working? Have you tried Detect
and Repair if 2000 or later version? If the problem persists, try starting
Outlook one time with the /cleanreminders switch.

Start->run->outlook.exe /cleanreminders (note the space after the .exe and
before the /)

This implies that you closed Outlook the previous day. Did you close it
before or after the time scheduled by the snooze?
