Prevent "5 minutes before event" snooze choice?

If I could I would send that choice to the deepest hell. Can I do
that, via the registry, or with code that walks through all calendar
entries and changes the upcoming default reminder period to "plain 5
minutes?"

If I accidentally hit snooze with that, rather than snooze for 5 or 15
minutes, I'm a dead man. Why, we all are. That reminder to "bring
materials for world armistice" that I had set to go off 1 day before
the event, that I want to snooze because I'm on a phone call, is now
going to go off 5 minutes before the event. 5 minutes before the event
is too late, and nuclear war will result. Way to go, Office design
team.

What can I do to prevent the UTTERLY useless, retardedly conceived "5
minutes before start?"

You want Outlook to be your nanny and take care of you when you turn your
brain off? That rarely works well.

Gosh Brian,

I really appreciate your ever-so-helpful response! Is it answers like that
which have helped you become an "MVP-Outlook"? I don't think it's too much
to hope that Outlook will operate in a way that is useful and intuitive.

Thanks for wasting our time.
