All,
I have had this recurring problem for about 1/2 year since I got some
appointment invite that was corrupt. After accepting the appointment I
could never get rid of it.. snooze, dismiss etc all failed and I would
allways get that fatefull message "the end date occurs before the start
date" etc.
I tried all the suggestions, and since I had already deleted the
appointment as well I couldnt do anything anyway. The cleanReminders
and Freebusy switches dont work (and judging by all the other posts I
think that these switches are crap and do next to nothing).
Anyway, I stumbled accross one suggestion that I tried and Success.
1. Note the date and title of the reminder that wont dismiss
2. Go to the Calendar and then change your "view" to "By Catagory"
3. then search for your appointment and delete
I deleted my appointments ages back and could not locate them in other
views.. but they were here. I deleted them and the hated pop up has
gone.
