Reminders don't work on flags

Aren't the reminders supposed to work with flags and
their due date/time?
 
Yep, but only when the message is kept in the default Inbox

-Save Embedded Pictures in Their Original Format
-Create an Office XP CD slipstreamed with Service Pack 3
 
But what about reminders on flags set in contacts or
journals. Can I get these to prompt the reminder/window
alarm?
 
Nope, ONLY when the message is kept in the default Inbox

A slight correction. Reminders will fire only on items in the default Inbox,
Calendar, Contacts or Tasks folders unless you use a 3rd party addin.
Journal, Post and Notes items don't support reminders at all.
