Reminder conflict

I have a customer that is running Outlook 2002. When in Outlook and he
dismisses an appointment reminder, it prompts him to keep one of two and that
one is a conflict. This only happens when he has been working offline and
reconnects to the network. He is using offline mail. The reminders in
conflict display as one minute apart in time.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. We are pulling our hair out on this
one.

It sounds like you could have a slightly corrupted .ost file. Try deleting
the .ost file and resynching with Exchange. You might want to copy everything
to a .pst just be sure you don't lose anything important. Search for *.ost
under the user's profile to find the hidden file.
