Remembering Passwords on IE 6

I am having a problem getting my IE 6 to remember
passwords. It prompts me as normal, and I say yes, but I
go back and nothing is saved??

I have Windows XP and connect via DSL...We thought maybe
it was just a setting but I have gone in and tried
everything I can think of!!

First, make sure that "Protected Storage" service is running. Click Start / Run / Services.msc
