remembering password

For some reason, my wife's Outlook can't "remember the password." When I go
to "accounts" and check the box to "remember password" it accepts it but
after I say OK and go back into it, the box is unchecked and the password
******** are not there.

(Remembering the password works fine on my Outlook, so I must be doing
something right.)

Any suggestions?
