Not remembering password

I'm using Outlook XP on Win XP / MCE SP2. I want it to remember my
passwords. I have 6 email accounts. It does remember passwords for
the 5 pop accounts.

But it always asks for the password for my IMAP account -- and no
matter how many times I check "remember password" -- it doesn't.
Furthermore, it asks for my password multiple times about 10 second
apart while it is getting the IMAP mail.

I'm new to using Outlook, so please bear with me.
