"Remember My ID on this Computer" DOESN'T WORK

Hi -- I have never worked on a PC where this function actually worked. This
offer is made whenever I go to sign into my Yahoo account, and when I check
"Yes" and sign in, the next time I come back it pretends it never saw me
before. Same with all other internet log-ins.

I have looked everywhere I can think of for the switch that will enable it
-- including in the so-called "Help" section of Windows -- and have never
found anything.

I'd be most grateful for any help with this.

Thanks --

Ethan

Go to Internet Options>Content Tab>AutoComplete Settings, and select all
that apply.
But, keep in mind that Yahoo, among others, will require you to enter your
password, whether or not you want it to remember your login info...very
annoying, I agree, but they feel it's in our best interest..Big Brothers!
You can control it to some degree..there is a setting for how many hours
it'll save your password, or rather gives you the choice of how many times a
day you need to enter it, like once daily, every 6 hours, something like
that.
And, if you ever run a disk cleanup, empty temp files, etc, you'll have to
re-enter your login info.
