Remapping Wake/Sleep/Power keys on keyboard?

Chaos Master

Hello.

I have a keyboard with the Wake/Sleep/Power keys. Since my PC has an AT
power supply (the only way to switch power off is to press the ON/OFF
button on the case, shutdown controlled by software isn't possible with
AT power supplies), those keys are useless.

Q: Is there any freeware program that can be used to remap those keys to
anything useful?

(to some groups: Yes, I use Windows and MS Office. So what?)

Some programs to try:

Windows NT/2000/XP only
Visual Basic 6.0 SP5 runtimes

KeyTweak
http://webpages.charter.net/krumsick/

Keyboard remapper

Windows 98/ME/2000/XP
Visual Basic 6.0 SP5 runtimes

Hotkeycontrol XP
http://www.digital-miner.com/hkcontrol.html

Hotkey utility

Windows 95/98/ME/2000/XP
Open source

http://www.autohotkey.com/

Keyboard, joystick, mouse remapper

The last two have features that cannot be made to work on 95/98/ME
because of limitations in those OS's. But they may work well enough for
what you want.

They all mention that they support those extra keys on multimedia
keyboards.
