rejoin an orphan domain

Is there a way to rejoin a orphanned domain to another
domain? Situation - This network 1 parent DC and 1 Child
DC both running AD. Parent DC went down and was not
recoverable (no BDC, no Backups). New DC was brought up
(with same domain name as the previous one). All I need
to do now is link the 2 if possible.

No, you can not join an existing domain to another forest. You will have to
migrate objects.

It's even worse than that by the sounds of it. It seems here that the forest
root domain has been lost with no backups and no chance of it being
recovered so the whole forest is lost and no schema or enterprise admins
accounts. Jason, your best hope is to rebuild the entire forest from scratch
and try to migrate objects from the remaining child domain with ADMTv2 as
Matjaz suggests.
