ok if anyone can help please do..I was going to do a repair on xp home edtion
but when I tried to do a reinstall couldn't because I have sp1 on oem xp
so I was told to do a autostream of sp2 to xp. Can anyone please tell me what
the easiet way to do this and the steps, first time I tried it didn't work I
used autostreamer but I couldn't get the microsoft img. file to add before
burning. I saw something about ISO blaster but what is this? Should I just do
a reinstall of xp instead and what are the steps to do before reinstall or
how to save files or what to savebefore doing this?

OEM as in mfg cds with windows xp on it,those cds you need to leave alone,
a retail store copy of xp will take on SP2 (waste of time really),but OEM has
data write material that shouldnt be edited...Either way,to "repair" xp,one
boots to the xp cd,at xp cd boot menu, select, install xp,then "repair" this
copy
instead of other option "new installation".At this point,if "repair" is
selected,xp
gets reinstalled,it deletes SP1 and SP2,plus any other updates,so even if you
did/could install SP2 on the OEM cd,xp "repair" wont use it..
