Reinstalling outlook 2000 after removing office 2003 beta

I tried Office 2003 beta for 6 months. After
reinstalling Office 2000, Outlook 2000 quits at first
load attempt. Reinstalling Office 2000, running Norton
tools, cleaning registery, etc. does not help. Any
suggestion?

"Microsoft Outlook a rencontré un problème et doit
fermer. Nous vous prions de nous excuser pour le
désagrément encouru." translated into "Microsoft Outlook
has encountered a problem and must close. We apologize
for the problem". The computer uses XP Family in French,
Outlook is an English version. The PST files are backed
up and use them with another PC, running W2k and O2k.
