reinstalling and activating xp

I want to reformat my hd and reinstall windows xp from scratch. I activated
xp when I installed it the first time. My question is.... will I be allowed
to activate it again after I reformat and reinstall xp? I just wanted to
check before I go and make some dumb mistake and end up with no OS in the
end.
