reinstalled xp lost 2nd hard drive

lost second hard drive reformated both hard drives on my computer and only 1
shows up in my computer ow do i get the 2nd on up and running tried 2
disconnecet it did not show up in system and then reinstalled it still not
there.2? how to i bypass the activation when my xp has been reg 2 x before.
please help thank u
 
Hi,

Is the second drive seen in the system BIOS?
Recognized by device manager?
Start/run diskmgmt.msc, what does this tool tell you about the drive?

Activation cannot be avoided if you reinstall. You will need to reactivate
each time you do.
