No, you shouldn't have to reinstall any 3rd party software. An inplace
upgrade is like any other upgrade in that we install into the same directory
and inherit settings from the old registry. Since the upgrade process isn't
deleting 3rd party files and is retaining the settings from 3rd party
programs, all of your applications should still work correctly. However,
doing an inplace upgrade DOES replace Microsoft OS files. So you will need
to reapply your service pack, reinstall IE, and reinstall security updates.
