Reinstallation of icons to desktop

I had windows uninstalled and reinstalled, but I do not seem to have my word,
excel or my other programs. I could use some direction on getting these back
on-line.

Most likely you will have to use the original disks for these programs and
re-install.
The programs are not independent of the Windows files. When you uninstalled
Windows, you destroyed many DLL files and references in the registry that
can only be returned if you re-install the software.

Also, if case you had not recognized it yet, Word, Excel, etc. are not part
of Windows.
