I'm recently replaced the motherboard under warranty from
gateway. Computer cam with ME, but I upgraded to xp pro a
few months ago. I can not reload XP, it does not
recognize the ME restoration disk from gateway, loading Me
doesnt make any differece. I can't request free support
from Microsoft because I can't get a product id until I
load XP. What can I do? Thanks in advance

You will have to go back to gateway. These propriatory
systems are usually BIOS locked. They should have given
you a new set of factory restore disks that match the BIOS
in your new mainboard.
