I did what you suggested with no success. It appears that the Windows
Security Center is not "started" on my computer. Any suggestions? I
have surfed the Microsoft support and not found the answer.

When I try to view or change my windows firewall settings, I get
the
following message: Due to an unidentified problem, Windows cannot
display
Windows firewall settings. I need to know how to repair/reinstall
Windows firewall, as I believe it is interfering with other things
I am trying to run/install.
"Due to an unidentified problem, Windows cannot display Windows
Firewall settings" error, try:
Start>Run regsvr32 hnetcfg.dll [enter]
