My computer is infected with spyware, and i want to clean out everything on
my computer and install WINXP again. How shoiuld i do this? I have already
backed up my files.

Do you have a Windows XP installation CD and license key? If so, you can boot
the computer from the CD. At the appropriate point, delete the existing
partition(s) and recreate new ones.

If your computer came with Windows XP, and depending on the brand, you may have
a "system restore" CD instead of a Windows XP CD, or sometimes a system restore
partition on the hard disk drive (this is very poor practice but unfortunately
common). You may need to study the documentation available from the computer
vendor for assistance with this process.
