reinstall/certificate of authenticity/ reregistration

I want to reinstall XP on one of the PC's at work. The
problem is that the XP discs have all been put into the
same CD case, thought the certificates of authenticity
have been kept with each set of discs. The problem is
that I don not know which set of discs go with the
problem computer. Is there a way to see which
certificate of authenticity code was enterred.

Also, I figure that after I reinstall, when I try and
register, or more likely, it tries to register itself as
a byproduct of installation that somewhere in the
archives of Microsoft, it's gonna say that certificate
has already been used. What do I do?

If you can still boot into the old installs, there's a tool you can find on
the web called ViewKeyXP that can tell you what product key you used on a
given machine.
